This girl has established a great body position. I like how her shoulder is squeezed in and her hand is relaxed in prep for the catch. It looks like her fingertips are pointed in a downward direction, but she has established a strong forward line with her arm. |

Shall the head be in that position, means she has finish the inspiration and the other arm is out of the water, in what position? I have problems with keeping my head too long out water while the arm is moving frward out the water, it causes problems in getting the position shown in the picture.

Good question Javier... now imagine she's reaching for the finish. We were working on total extension on this day, and I liked how she was reaching forward. |

I'd like to see that hand turned down a bit to get some lift from the extension. RH |

I'm confused, and maybe it's just symantics, but why would you want lift during the extension? Thanks. |
