advantages in using fins

Hello everybody,I'm davide from Italy,i'm a master swimmer and i have simple question for you.
I realize that in your training session you often advise to use fins,well in the pool where i'm use to go nobody use fins and the use is forbidden, but not in saturday morning when there are few people in the pool. Now i'm considering to buying fins.
So, can you explain me the advantages in using fins in training session?

First, fins are fun. Other benefits:
1. They let you achieve faster speeds than you can on your own, and this helps prepare you for moving through the water during races.
2. They give you more momentum so that you can work on drills that improve the top end of your body -- things like breathing, head position, hand entry, catch, pull.
3. They give your legs a tough workout.
4. They can help you learn the dolphin motion essential for breast and fly.
5. They allow you to do different kinds of sets, and this keeps practice from becoming boring.
6. They let you feel what it's like to really CUT through the water, and then you take that feeling to your non-equipment swimming.

Aloha bubble blowers
I use a TYR split fin in most of my kicking sets. Long Dolphin kicks from lane line to lane line on alternating sides per length and deep long kicks on your back finnish with face down full length streamline underwater 25yds. Explode to the surface for a breath with a fly pull and dive in like a dolphin for fun. Completes a nice 100yd cycle. Do it 10x100 and your legs and core will thank you. Long free kicks focus on thighs.
Also try pull sets with fins on, no kicking and no buoy.
