We send a special THANK YOU this week to a certain masters team that welcomed Barbara into their midst while she was traveling. Can you guess which team? Here are some clues:

I received the following document a couple days ago, and decided to post it here for discussion.
If you had ONE shot to use something that you know would make you faster (the suits), LEGALLY... would you take advantage of it, or would you go by the rules you know will be set in less than 2 weeks?
This drill is sent out to all our friends heading to US Masters Nationals in Atlanta this week. This will be pretty much the last weekend for the tech-suit era and, love 'em or hate 'em, they've made quite an impact on the sport.
Got a Masters swimmers who needs a special 60th birthday practice? Here's just the thing... and it was a lot of fun for the rest of us, too.
What should you do 2 or 3 days out from a meet? Here's what our Masters team did a couple days prior to a Masters mini meet on October 3rd.
Looking for a great fall-foliage road trip with a bit of Masters competition thrown in? The Upper Valley Aquatic Center (Barbara's home pool) is holding its 1st Annual Leaf Peepers Masters Mini Meet on October 3rd.
There are a couple very subtle technique points in these two blurry photos that are outstanding for masters swimmers. Don't look for what's wrong, see if you can point out the ONE specific great point in each picture. I know what I see; see if we're thinking along the same lines.
This week's set is actually several short sets that we combined into a stations workout for Masters practice this morning. The hula-hoop station was hilarious. If you don't have this exact list of equipment, just improvise with whatever cool equipment or challenges you can think of.
This set really IS the set of the week... it got multiple thumbs up this week from the Masters team that I coach.
What a great surprise to pull this magazine out of the mailbox with DAVO gracing the cover. Great story, great pictures, and a very inspiring way to end, and begin the year.
In this week's pic, we feature a Masters swimmer during a pull set. Tell us what you think of this picture.
Gold Medal Mel posted a fun video from Olympic Trials featuring National Team Alums trying on and swimming in LZRs and Roque in his Blue70. It's a fun video, and even a couple cameos from yours truly.
While at Olympic Trials, I shared a house with some old friends and we had a little backyard pool. Of course, any pool of any size is a draw for past Olympic swimmers, so we all jumped in to play.
Main set starts with 100s at a sustainable threshold pace and works down to a single 100 at max effort.
We are a group of swimmers who swim really fast, and like to help others learn how to reach their competitive potential in the area of professional swimming.
